On May 26, 2005, we will be holding the fifth annual Red Bank Education Awards program. This program is a reception and party to honor the people and organizations who make outstanding contributions to the education and development of Red Bank children. Once again, we are coming together to honor our town’s most precious resources – the teachers, administrators and community leaders who cultivate success in our children. This event has three main goals: 1) to recognize and reward excellent contributions by members of the Red Bank community, 2) to bring all segments of the Red Bank community together in a celebration of excellence in education, and 3) to raise needed funds so that the Red Bank Education and Development Initiative can realize its mission of supporting the success of every Red Bank child.

If we are to see continued improvement in education results for Red Bank children, we must recognize and celebrate the achievements of people who are making a difference. By doing so, we will reinforce and encourage the efforts of people who are working with Red Bank kids every day.

The following awards will be presented at this year’s event:

NJ Governor’s Award Teacher of the Year – Red Bank Primary School

NJ Governor’s Award Teacher of the Year – Red Bank Charter School

NJ Governor’s Award Teacher of the Year – Red Bank Middle School

NJ Governor’s Award Teacher of the Year – Red Bank Regional High School

RBEDI Award for Excellence in Teaching or Administration

RBEDI Award for Outstanding Contribution by a Community Member

Frederick G. Gaddis Community Service Award
